Fairness refers to how people are treated at each stage of their UWA experience be it as a staff member, a student or a member of the public.

Fairness underpins all UWA processes including:

  • leadership
  • recruitment
  • performance
  • review and misconduct.

Definition

People are to be treated fairly – not discriminated against, abused or exploited.

Therefore, fairness mean that all members of the UWA community have a right to be treated fairly, equitably and without discrimination.
