The Inclusive Campus Culture strategy aims to raise awareness of University values and provide staff with access to policies and procedures to create a strong and positive campus culture at UWA.
In 2011, Inclusive Campus Culture is being targeted and promoted through four key result areas:
A shared understanding of a culture of inclusive behaviour and interpretation of UWA values will be promoted throughout the UWA community.
A strong leadership focus in the area of diversity encourages an environment where individuals, groups and community can learn from and work with one another in a positive, inclusive and constructive setting.
UWA recognises that even the best processes and procedures occasionally require reinforcement, and that staff should be able to locate and take advantage of the University’s support systems with ease and confidence.
The infrastructure of the institution provides the framework within which the campus culture operates. It is vital that this framework is strong yet flexible, dynamic yet reliable.
